Being Social in Person

tony

I’m going to spit out a few more blogs.  I’m not great at remembering to blog everyday so I’m behind.  I do have videos lined up… but who knows when that will be.  This blog will discuss some of the things I’ve lost and and gained over the past 10 years.  Why 10… well it’s high school reunion time.. so that’s on my mind.  I went to a good college, law school, and have a fun job that pays well, but did I achieve everything I wanted?

My personality is very different from my sister’s.  I don’t have the need or desire to really be social.  And while I can be extremely social…. I did teach 14 chemistry classes and lead 14 orientation groups…  I got to be on stage all the time in college and law school.  And I was president of my fraternity in law school….  I could be social when I needed to be… but I really didn’t need to be.  I’d rather sit at home or a library and read.  As corny as it sounds, I’ve always found the greatest comfort in reading… and now coding.

For me, the best time is when I accomplish things.  I love finish books and I love finishing code.  For PPC, an optimized well kept account makes me happy.

I have a lot of friends… to many to really interactive with.  Both in real life and digital.  There’s always something going on.  A wedding to go to or an event.  I have so many friends because they are sectored by interest.  Most of my friends share one strong interest in common with me.  Their interests don’t intersect with each other.  I’m used to this.  I have a ton of geek hobbies and then I have a ton of “normal” interests.  Additionally I have various academic interests… one of which is my blog.

Of all my interests.  I’m going to spend the majority of this weekend exploring my artistic interests.  Drawing is so fun.  As is video editing.  And various graphic design things.  And the piano.  I own a piano… life goal achieved?

In the end, I have no idea why I titled this blog what I titled it.  The blog became a tirade of random thoughts… which reflects cleanly all my blogs.
